Appreciating the alluring Alex with pics, part 26

Noooooo! He shaved it off AGAIN! What can I say I love the curls and I was getting closer to accepting the shorter Steve look but the shaved MARCUS look?

I was hopeful we would have some of those wayward curls and flips here and there for season 2.
Oh well it's his hair not mine...but we know it grows fast if his trimmers stay away...with a little luck my his curls will be back. No matter the hair length his beautiful face is still the same so I guess I'll get over the lack of hair...for now.

I like the gray more than the style. I think it makes him look older....

It seems I'm having a problem making myself understood! Those were meant to be two separate statements. I don't mind a little gray, but, I think the buzz cut along with all the gray that is showing does age him. Before he started dying his hair (which they did a very good job of, I think), the gray was scattered around his temples. Now, it looks like it's all over. Again, nothing wrong with it, but he looks more youthful to me with longer hair. To me, it isnt the amount of gray that ages him, but the severe cut. But, I can't hate it because it does show off his defined, beautiful facial features, and well, it is Alex!

Although, you make a good point for wanting him to look a bit older. About 10 years would work for me!

I personally like the shorter hair especially with the beard. It always helps that he has the most amazing smile.

It's summer in Hawaii, so I can see wanting to keep cool, although I'm certainly a fangirl of the longer locks. As for the grey, I think it makes men his age look distinguished rather than old. He'll be the first one to tell you he's not 22 anymore, so a touch of grey is fine by me.

It's the facial hair I find fascinating....he has multiple looks - scruff, quasi beard, full beard, goatee (can't remember seeing him with only a 'stache, though). Anyway, he's one of the few men I've seen who can actually pull off almost any facial hair combination.

Sorry - don't throw things - but while Alex is certainly entitled to be comfortable and wear his hair anyway he wants, it doesn't mean I have to like the look. Of all the parts he's played that I have seen, I liked his look in The Invisible the least.

Give me the longer hair on him anytime. I miss Mick.

What I do love about his new look? The fact that he could give a hoot about how he looks! He is just a guy. A guy who is probably thrilled to not be styled, dyed, dressed and made up 6 days a week. A guy who is so naturally good looking that he doesn't even have to try.

That makes him infinitely more appealing to me.

I think he looked much younger as Mick, considering it was only 3-4 years ago, but I think that has more to do with weight than anything else.

JKsGirl-you make a great point about his weight. When he's a bit fuller in the face, he does appear more youthful. I think he looks his healthiest now. He is not too thin, his body is in perfect condition and....well, just review the pix red posted.
