My understanding is, the same way tv Beth did... She's still the girl Mick saved from Cora...

The nature and arc of the romance, given the noir and no network censors, should be a bit of a different animal tho...

Yeah--I've been thinking about it, and Trevor's going to have some hard thinking to do. The relationship with Beth (whatever it turns out to be) will take place between the flashbacks and the present day of AoV. And in the present day, she is evidently not a part of Mick's life. So... either she's a vampire and living somewhere else, or she's human and she's pretty old, and not part of Mick's day-to-day life, or she's dead.

I'm not sure which of those options I'd want him to choose.

That's such a good point Alle, I mean... we don't question the timeline in the series... ( and it seems to follow a similar chain of events...) Could the same principle be applied to his books? I know that we all love the idea of Mick and Beth... but how different would her character have to be to fit in with the world of Trevor's imagination? I think very.... it will be such an interesting read.

I thought I once heard Trevor say once that while the little girl Beth was in his plan for the books, the adult Beth wasn't.
