I'm still trying to figure out the whole "news" thing. It looks to me like they only cite online articles and references. The other 2 "events" they mark are television appearances and theatrical releases. But, regardless of what they cite as possible influences, only IMDb searches affect the actual numbers.

I haven't got imdb pro, so I can't be sure this is the correct number, but according to the main page, Alex is down 66 this week.

If my maths are correct, that should mean -- 403.
