Anyway, the reason I was looking for a thread is that I saw him tonight. He appeared on tonight's Mentalist (4.11 "Always bet on Red") as Brock Marx, a mob-connected baddie.

Pretty much. But much more intense and dangerous.

Definitely smarmy and sleazy, and relatively quiet. His character conveyed much with few words and a lot of nasty looks (and one non-verbal gesture).

And....in looking at the promo for next week's Mentalist, something van Pelt said got me to thinking....
