Searching for Sonny was shown at the Festivus Film Fest last night in Denver ... where it took home the prize for Best Picture!! :yahoo:

Lilly - do you know of any other film festivals where it will be shown? I'd like to see it - particularly if it's somewhere warm.

They are showing at a small festival in Beaumont, Texas, The Boomtown Film & Music Festival, on February 24-25.

My impression is that this is small-ish local festival, but I haven't looked into it closely. There isn't any schedule information available yet.


I know they're submitting to a number of larger festivals, from now through the spring. As soon as I get confirmation of any, I'll absolutely let you know. :thumbs:

Beaumont is warm enough for me! I think I'll try to arrange it along with some touristy things in the area.

:slaphead: OH POOOO! I live in Denver how did I miss hearing about this? :shrug: I didn't even know such an event was going on. :sigh:

I know I must have been blinded by all the Tebowing this week. Now that it's all over...no more excuses :laugh:
