Re: Alex Eyes "Back-up Plan"
Anyone have a tip for narrowing the criteria for these Google Alerts? I started one for TBUP but I get one every time the words "back" or "up" are mentioned!
I'm scared to put "movie" in there and get an alert for every movie out there too!

Yes, tomorrow.Fleur de Lisa wrote:Soooo. Is it tomorrow that JLo is supposed to be on Regis and Kelly Lee?!
If anyone could tell me what network it usually airs on and the time--or is it syndicated?
Thanks!
Well, here on the west coast they are on ABC at 9:00 AM.
Also, Rachael Ray will have J Lo on Friday on CBS at 9 AM.

Oh dear... that would suck, Sister...and I know this will surprise you, but I don't even know how to be ON a google alert, much less control one...
And ma chere Fleur... on my local tv, it is on an ABC station, but I'm betting it's syndicated... it comes on here at 9 am... so try that time period--or would you have to try the central time 8 am???
Hmmm.... looking back over my post I see I was absolutely no help to anyone... typical.

I just have Alex O'loughlin for my Google Alert. It usually brings up enough stuff. I wouldn't dare try Back Up Plan or J Lo cuz that would fill my E- mail space.

Re: Alex Eyes "Back-up Plan"
I'm pretty sure that Regis and Kelly belongs to the Mouse (as in Disney), so it should be on everyone's ABC station. It's also on at 9AM around my area too. So I'm not sure if that's across the board or not. As for Rachel Ray, I'm pretty sure she's syndicated. Here in Cincy, she's on NBC.willing freshie wrote:Yes, tomorrow.Fleur de Lisa wrote:Soooo. As for Google Alerts, can't you put in more than one name? Maybe try the title along with Jennifer Lopez's name.

Just go to Google.com, and when you get on Google, type in "google alert" in the search box. When the searches come up, go to google alert and click on it. Then type in your info, like Alex O'loughlin, and you will be inundated with all the searches for Alex.

Re: Alex Eyes "Back-up Plan"
That's why I'm saying that she's syndicated. If a show is sold into syndication, any network in any area can pick it up. So everyone will have to check their local listings to see what network and time RR is on.willing freshie wrote:SirenSong wrote:As for Rachel Ray, I'm pretty sure she's syndicated. Yup, she's syndicated. Here in Washington, D.C., she's on Fox!SirenSong wrote:That's why I'm saying that she's syndicated. If a show is sold into syndication, any network in any area can pick it up. Re: Alex Eyes "Back-up Plan"
MoonlightDetective.com just posted this narrative about "Back-up plan":
http://moonlight-detective.com/?p=715
CBS Films has just informed us that Alex O’Loughlin has officially been cast as the male lead in the film The Back-Up Plan. Alex will play Stan, the potentially perfect guy for Jennifer Lopez’s Zoe. Here’s some more information on the film:
“The Back-up Plan” is a comedy that explores courtship, love, marriage and family “in
reverse.”
After years of dating, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) has decided waiting for the right one is taking
too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment
and decides to go it alone. On the day of her artificial insemination, Zoe meets Stan – a
man with real possibilities.
Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a
comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan. When Zoe nervously
reveals the reason for her unpredictable behavior, Stan commits fully and says he’s in.
Never before has love seen a courtship where a wild night of sex involves three in a bed –
Stan, Zoe and the ever-present massive pregnancy pillow. Or, where “date night”
consists of being the “focal point” at a near-stranger’s water birth which does for kiddie
pools what “Jaws” did for swimming in the ocean. The real pregnancy test comes when
both of them realize they really don’t know each other outside of hormonal chaos and
birth preparations. With the nine month clocking ticking, both begin to experience cold
feet. Anyone can fall in love, get married and have a baby but doing it backwards in
hyper-drive could be proof positive that they were made for each other.
Jennifer Lopez stars in “The Back-up Plan” for CBS Films, the film division within CBS
Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS). The project, which starts principal photography
in Los Angeles on May 11, will be the first feature film release for the company and is set
to debut in theaters January of 2010.
Alan Poul (‘Swingtown” and “Six Feet Under”) will direct. Todd Black, Jason
Blumenthal and Steve Tisch (“The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Knowing”) will produce
through their Escape Artists banner. Kate Angelo (“Will and Grace,” “What About
Brian”) wrote the screenplay.
Wow! Sounds like this one is going to be funny as hell! And can you see "Stan" in a pool, helping "Zoe"? No shirt?! Wet?! In swim trunks?! OMB!

I actually like the sound of that movie. Sounds like fun and I could see Alex in this. He would be fantastic and funny and sexy.

Re: Alex Eyes "Back-up Plan"
I just want it to be HILARIOUS. I love comedy movies/TV, so this sounds good, but will have to wait and see.
Movie ticket to The Back-Up Plan....$8.00.
Popcorn and soda....$6.00.
Watching Alex be the complete goofball we know he is...priceless.

Re: Alex Eyes "Back-up Plan"
Now why oh why did I zero in on the phrase "wild night of sex" ??
It does indeed sound promising! The script is by one of the writers who used to work on Will & Grace, which I loved, so I'm hopeful. After having read the sides, I'd say it's definitely a little more adult than most romantic comedies I've seen.
And unfortunately that water birth isn't Zoe's. So we may not get hot, wet Stan, but I do think we'll get love scene Stan which is even better!
Thanks for the post, Suz!
