Holy cow! Why is everything or everyone Alex is attached to looks so hot??

That's an easy question to answer. If they weren't so pretty, noone would see them. As Alex surely will totally outdo them in the acting department, they need to stand out at least in the appearances. And they still will have a hard time to even be noticed.

that's just me but i think Jennifer is more attractive than her even at almost 40 also she plays Jennifer co-wrker in the movie she will probably have 10 minutes of screen times.

i think she is she's mostly a comedic actress.

Six Feet Under was one of my fave shows (Mr. Fleur's, too) I'll have to check out her profile to see the character she played.
And Alan Ball is a genius, as far as I am concerned.
