Is there a shot for the CW to pick up Body Politic as a midseason replacement? From the sneak peeks I've seen, it looks like it's got lots of promise, and I really need a weekly Jason Dohring fix! — Gina

MICKEY: I'm with you, Gina! Body reminds me of the heady mid-'90s, when I actually called Washington, D.C., home (in large part because of the movie St. Elmo's Fire). My CW mole tells me that the Beltway drama is still in the running for a midseason slot, but that it's up against the Gossip Girl spin-off, which has a few high-ranking fans in the building.

OK having actually SEEN the show....CW...not really the place for it, which is an issue. HOWEVER i don't care where it is seen,it just deserves to be seen. Stopping myself from going on a rant of how much i dislike GG and how a spin off would make me like gag on a kitchen untensil.

On the future of the most-buzzed-about-pilot nobody’s seen: BODY POLITIC is dead. I’ve been doing this for a long time and I’ve never been in a situation where literally every pilot we’ve shot this year could have been on the schedule. They were just all great pilots, almost like a “Sophie’s Choice.”

Noooooooo!! That just makes my heart sink.

Unlike a lot of actors, he doesn't have live theater to fall back on during this down time. I just he doesn't get discouraged. Well, nuts! OK, we need to come up with some ideas to help keep his spirits up until just the right thing comes along.
