Although I happen to agree with that...it's a very funny way to put it. Soylent Green, anyone?

For the Aussies, I just read in my paper that Channel 10 here have picked up Three Rivers (along with NCIS:LA - to go with the original NCIS they have - Nurse Jackie and Glee).
This is much better than Channel 9 who only half screened ML and then pulled it (they are notorious for doing that). Channel 10 should be a good fit for TR hopefully. Generally speaking they have hipper programming than the others, and appeal to a younger audience as well. I'm so glad someone picked it up - I must admit I was getting worried.

Lovely pic RangerCM.
so much.
On the Rob Owen article - even if rugby doesn't seem like a Pittsburgh thing to do, I'm soooo glad they decided to go with that.
*shallow moment over*.
Red I must be odd too cos I also love the baggier scrubs.redwinter101 wrote:I confess, I love the baggier scrubs in the promo pic. I find them much sexier. But then I'm odd, so....

Does anyone know if the UK picked this up?

Alex O’Loughlin Returns to Pittsburgh on August 17th for “Three Rivers”

Rob Owen has just blogged in his Tuned In Journal about today’s visit to the Three Rivers set at Paramount Studios. These are the highlights from his post:
* The show’s medical facility was initially called the Three Rivers Hospital. It has now been renamed the Three Rivers Regional Medical Center.
* A new pilot episode is currently in production.
* The original pilot — shot in Pittsburgh and Brownsville, PA — will not be aired as a pilot. Instead, scenes and stories from the Pittsburgh shoot will be used in an episode.
* Alex O’Loughlin and Katherine Moennig will return to Pittsburgh on August 17th to do some location shooting for two scenes to be used in two upcoming episodes. There is no further information available at the moment on the actual filming locations.
* The sexy, clingy scrubs have been ditched for more “normal-looking” scrubs. Darn.

Thanks for the link, RangerCM.....but it makes me wonder....is an Alex O'Loughlin makeover in the works, and if so, is it by desire (he wants it) or by direction (the network wants it)?

I just hope TPTB give our poor guy a break. He shouldered so much on ML, I would hate to see him have to be put into that position once again, where everything rests on him. He worked himself into the ground before and my fondest wish is that this is an easier path for him this time around.
Bob knows he deserves it.
