I would like to know the percentage of Catholics who start out confessing with "I swore/cursed." That was the "advice" my older cousin gave me before my first confession (I was sweatin' it) I laughed so hard when I heard Mick say that ... "Hey, you stole my line!"

On the negative side....I hate Mick's hair in this episode.
Yes, in all 16 episodes this was the most graphically "VAMPIRE" on the feeding.....
Shepherd is evil personified in ML. AND we got the Alice scene intact

I know... I was expecting the vamp would kick his ass, but when that happened I was totally caught off guard. "Whoa..."allegrita wrote: maybe he talked to your coz too!

Ohhhh the sweater-sniff... and then Beth finds the photos.
You know--the most interesting thing about Beth's file is that there is NO case report in it.

Oh man............. that final scene makes me cry. She tried so hard. She laid it all on the line... and he couldn't meet her. He couldn't see the light.

I know... the shame in his eyes as he walks away is heartbreaking.

It makes me cry, too - they both played that scene SO beautifully (and ITA on the song - perfect).
On the subject of songs, does anyone know the song they used for the scene where Shepherd is being brought from his cell to the execution chamber?

It really is. And may I put in a plug for Shadow's wonderful In Between stories? She does such an amazing job of explicating what we see, and connecting them together in such a believable and sympathetic way... and she has woven in a separate story too. I love them so much! The one between 8 and 9 is fabulous!I know... the shame in his eyes as he walks away is heartbreaking.

Are you talking about "Drowning"? It's by The Stereophonics. It's played during the execution scene.redwinter101 wrote:Yet, sweetie. ETA: I checked my recorded copy of the ep, and it is "Drowning." If you want to listen to the whole song, it's available on MyImmortal's music player at http://www.mickstjohn.net/music/

Julie: ba-dum-shhhhh!
Yeah, Alle, love Stereophonics too. If you like this, Red, check out their other stuff. "The Bartender & the Thief" is one of my favorite songs by them. They also do that awesome cover of Rod Stewart's "Handbags & Gladrags."
