Thanks for the warm reception.
They never told me what I could or couldn't say, so I'm assuming everything is fair game.
I was in one of the first scenes, a wedding. Despite taking about seven hours to film, I'm going to guess it's about 5 minutes worth of footage, probably toward the beginning (someone had to explain the hook to me of the "Three Rivers" which is both a Pittsburgh thing- where the Ohio, Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers all meet - and because there are three stories all interwoven - the doctor, the donor and the recipient)
The scene is set in the fall in South Carolina (according to the wedding program prop that was floating around, Nov. 7). The wedding was between Kim, a South Carolina girl, and Sam, a damned Yankee. It's a small wedding at a rural church. The vows are said, a brief joke is made about Sam being a Yankee, the rings are exchanged and the groom kisses the bride (man, did he kiss her. On the first take, the director had to cut and go again because the actor sort of spun her and grabbed the back of her head for what was supposed to be a v long but sedate kiss).
Then suddenly a man walks in, draws his gun and shoots the bride. Amid screams and panic, the gunman is tackled by two men as the groom holds his bleeding bride and screams for someone to call 911.
End scene.
The crew was running late - they were supposed to head to the Allegheny Airport at 2:30 p.m. (all the background work there was real - no hired extras). They were - per usual for a film set or a political candidate - running late. The extras didn't get let go and paperwork finished til 3 p.m. while the crew was at lunch, so I'm not sure they got everything they needed there.
The call sheet for the airport includes the jet co-pilot, piper pilot, ground crew, Pittsburgh paramedics and South Caroline paramedics and Miranda. There are exterior shots of a the procurement team and pilot boarding a private jet, then the jet taxis, then a dusk shot of the piper taking off in close up rain, then the piper parked and "our gang" boards in the storm (I'm going to assume Kim is brain dead and this is the transfer to the Three Rivers hospital).
Upon further, non-hyper examination of the yoinked sheet, Saturday's advance schedule had at least two interior scenes scheduled (the copy is cut off after that) at Three Rivers. And Alex IS on the schedule for that. They're filming that part at Brownsville Tri-County Hospital in Fayette County.
The first at Clinical Director Campos's office as he scolds Miranda, the invites her to sit in on a committee meeting. Then the committee meeting (also at Three Rivers) meets in the boardroom - Alex is on the committee
It was super fun and a very interesting way to spend the day, lack of Alex aside (I think I'd have hyperventilated and been escorted off the set. Of course, I'd have definitely been able to conjure a quality scream, just not during the gunman scene

)
